BrushFriends is a painting business operations app used to manage internal project workflows, customer records, estimates, invoices, scheduling, and related communications.
This policy describes how information is handled in the BrushFriends app and customer portal.
Information We Collect
The app may collect or store customer contact details, property details, project information, estimates, invoices, project documents, scheduling information, payment tracking details, messages, and operational notes needed to run BrushFriends projects.
When users sign in, authentication information is handled through Supabase Auth. If Google sign-in is enabled, that sign-in is separate from the Google Calendar API integration described below.
How We Use Information
Information is used to operate the BrushFriends business, manage customer projects, prepare and share estimates and invoices, schedule project work, track project status, support customer portal access, and communicate about active work.
We use information only for business operations and app functionality. We do not sell personal information.
Google Calendar Data
BrushFriends uses Google Calendar access only to create, update, and remove project schedule events on the connected company calendar. Calendar data is used to support internal scheduling and project operations. BrushFriends does not sell Google user data.
The app may store project scheduling metadata such as calendar event ID, event URL, calendar ID, and last synced timestamp so project schedules can be linked back to the connected company calendar.
Google Calendar access is used for BrushFriends business operations and is not used for advertising or resale.
Customer And Project Data
Customer and project data is used to coordinate project work, maintain records, prepare documents, and support customer review of shared project information.
Customer portal users may see shared estimates, invoices, project information, and messages that relate to their own projects.
Sharing And Disclosure
Information may be shared with BrushFriends staff, service providers that help operate the app, and customers or representatives when needed for project work.
We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the security and integrity of the app.
Data Retention
BrushFriends keeps project and business records for as long as needed for operations, accounting, customer support, legal, or recordkeeping purposes.
Some records may be retained after a project is complete so the business can reference prior estimates, invoices, schedules, or project history.
Security
BrushFriends uses authentication, role-based access patterns, server-side API routes, and operational safeguards to help protect app data.
No system can guarantee perfect security, but access to business data is intended to be limited to authorized users and appropriate customer portal access.
Your Choices And Deletion Requests
Customers and users can ask questions about their data or request deletion or correction where appropriate. Some information may need to be retained for business, legal, accounting, or project history reasons.
